PART 1
Quite a controversy exists concerning when YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH)'s Death, and Resurrection Occurred.
For many centuries it was mainly taught and believed that He Died on a "Friday", and Resurrected on the following "Sunday".
Out of that teaching and belief arose such "venerated" days as "Holy Thursday", "Good Friday", and "Easter Sunday".
It also resulted in changing The Weekly Sabbath from The Seventh Day to the first day of the week, in honor of His Resurrection on that day.
In recent decades, however, a Teaching and Belief that YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) Died on a "Wednesday", and Resurrected "at the End of The Weekly Sabbath" came to exist.
The intent of that "doctrinal" change was to refute the veneration of "Sunday" as the "Christian Sabbath".
If it could be proven that YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) Resurrected on The Seventh Day, then there would no longer be any whatever foundation and justification for a "Sunday Sabbath".
The Purpose of this Scriptural Study is to Restore The Truth about when YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH)'s Death, and Resurrection Occurred, according to The Scriptures.
As we will clearly Prove in this Scriptural Study, The Truth is that YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) did NOT Die on a "Friday", NOR on a "Wednesday", and YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) did NOT Resurrect "at the Early Morning of Sunday", NOR "at the End of The Weekly Sabbath"!
Those of us who continue to Keep The Seventh Day Sabbath Set Apart do NOT Need to Disprove a "Sunday" Resurrection, NOR to Prove a "Sabbath " Resurrection, in order to Support Sabbath Keeping.
YAHWEH's Commandments are Immutable.
If HE, His Son, or the Apostles did NOT Change The Sabbath Commandment, then it must continue to be Observed on The Seventh Day of the Week despite what others say, and do.
The first thing to say is that, since there is quite a controversy about which Year YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) was Born, and about which Year He Died, and Resurrected, is not possible to surely Discover, by History, which Days of Week were The Passover, and The Feast of Unleavened (Bread), strictly related to His Death, and Resurrection, in the Year that He Died, and Resurrected. It needs to Discover them only by The Scriptures! Let's Start Reading Mattithyah / Matthew 12:38-41, that are The Scriptures more controversial on this Issue. "Then certain of the Scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, 'Teacher, we would see a Sign from you'. But He answered and said to them, 'An evil and adulterous generation seek after a Sign; and there shall no Sign be given to it, but the Sign of the Prophet Yahnah: For as Yahnah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish; so shall The Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Yahnah; and, behold, a Greater One than Yahnah is here". The focal point here is on "THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS". Are they "three full days" of 12 hours each, and "three full nights" of 12 hours each, for a total of "exactly 72 hours"? Or are they "three days and three nights", meaning three periods of "Light" (Day), and three Periods of "Darkness" (Night) (Genesis 1:3-5, 14-18)? First, please, note that they are "three days and three nights", and NOT "three nights and three days"! That means such "three days and three nights" begin with a Day, and end with a Night. Proponents of a "Friday" Death say that is only an "idom" that is not to be understood literally, but meaning "any part of three days or nights is involved", because other correlated Scriptures say "after three days", and "on the third day". Anyway, whatever "part" of them would be involved, there are NOT "three Days and three Nights", from "Friday" evening to "Sunday" early morning! But, at most, there are TWO "full" Nights (the entire Nights after "Friday", and after Sabbath Day), and ONE "full" Day (the entire Sabbath Day), and "parts" of TWO Days (a few hours, after the Death, late in the afternoon, or maybe just a few minutes, if any, after the Burial, in the evening, at the end of "Friday", and maybe just a few minutes, if any, before the Rolling of the Stone at the Door of the Tomb, very early in the morning, at the beginning of "Sunday", if that would be considered as the time of the Resurrection, even if the Body already was NOT there)! Proponents of a "Wednesday" Death say that The Sign of the True MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) was that YAHSHUA would be in the Tomb "exactly 72 hours", from "Wednesday" evening to Sabbath evening, just as the Prophet Yahnah would be in the belly of the fish "three days and three nights", for a total of "exactly 72 hours". But, anyway, at most, such "exactly 72 hours" from 'Wednesday" evening to Sabbath evening, would be "three Nights and three Days", and NOT "three Days and three Nights"! To Understand the True Meaning of these Verses, we must Study All that The Scriptures say concerning this Event. A parallel account to this encounter with the Scribes and Pharisees is found in Luke 11:29-30: "And when the people were gathered thick together, He began to say, 'This is an evil generation: they seek a Sign; and there shall no Sign be given it, but the Sign of Yahnah the Prophet. For as Yahnah was a Sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also The Son of Man be to this generation". Here YAHSHUA specifically tells us that the Sign was the Prophet Yahnah himself, and not only the Miraculous Fact that he was "three days and three nights" in the belly of the great fish. He says that HimSelf, The Son of Man, would be The Sign to the current generation of Israel. The emphasis is not only on how long those men were entombed in their respective prisons, but also on the men themselves, and on The Messages of Repentance that they Preached. The Ninevites were quick to Repent after hearing the Prophet Yahnah's Message, however, the evil generation of Israel would not respond to The Greater Message of The Greater Messenger, YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH). A Sign is something that is VISIBLE to the Sign seekers, who have to be eyewitnesses. The Yahdaim (Jews) wanted a VISIBLE Sign that was even more convincing than the Miracles that YAHSHUA performed. The emphasis is either on The Man and His Message, and on The Time Element involved. The Prophetic and Miraculous Sign that YAHSHUA MESSIYAH (MASHIACH) Gave, related to the Time Element, is that just as the Prophet Yahnah was in the belly of the great fish (as if he was dead!) THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, and then he came out alive (Yahnah 1:17; Chapter 2), so The Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth (Dead, in the sepulchre, the tomb!) THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, and then He would be come out ALIVE (Resurrected) (Mattithyah / Matthew 12:38-40)! If the "Sign" was ONLY the Messenger, and the Message, then YAHSHUA could parallel HimSelf to ANY of YAHWEH's Prophets until Yahchanan The Immerser - but He did specifically Parallel HimSelf to the Prophet Yahnah ALSO for the Prophetic and Miraculous "Sign' of "THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS", and NOT ONLY for the Messenger, and the Message!

PART 2
If the "Sign" of "three Days and three Nights" was of "exactly 72 hours", then YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) would be Dead, and then Buried, early in the morning, at the beginning of the Day - THAT IS NOT, according to The Scriptures (and so it had to be NOT also for the Prophet Yahnah in the belly of the great fish)! The most common expression that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) used concerning His Resurrection was "the third day". YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) gives us a clear example of what He means by "the third day" in Luke 13:32: "And He said to them, Go you, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected". YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) refers to "today" as "day 1", "tomorrow" as "day 2", and "the third day" as "day 3". Regardless of how much time remained in "day 1", it was still included in YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Count. In YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Mind, "the third day" is the day after "tomorrow". "Tomorrow" is the day after "today," and "today" is the day He was speaking. With that in mind, we can understand some other references to three days. In Luke 24:13-35, we read of the encounter between Cleopas, his companion, and YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) already Resurrected. The meeting takes place on the same day that the women came to the tomb and found it empty. Verse 29 shows it was late in the day, therefore their conversation must have taken place during the afternoon of "Sunday", or as Luke 24:1 states, "the first [day] of the week". The conversation with YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) begins in Verse 17, "And He said to them, 'What manner of communications are these that you have one to another, as you walk, and are sad?' And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said to him, 'Are you only a stranger in Yerusalem, and have not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?' And He said to them, 'What things?' And they said to him, 'Concerning YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) of Nazareth, which was a Prophet Mighty in deed and word before YAHWEH (YHWH) and all the people: And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to Death, and have [impaled] Him. But we trusted that it had been He Which should have Redeemed Israel: and beside all this, TODAY IS THE THIRD DAY, AFTER Passover was celebrated, SINCE these things were done". The last sentence is very important! The day they were speaking was "the third day" AFTER Passover, SINCE the things they were speaking about took place. What were they speaking about? Cleopas began his account of past events with the arrest of YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) and ended them with MESSYAH (MASHIACH)'s Death, and Burial, and the Celebration of the Passover of the Yahdaim (Jews). Cleopas said, "today is the third day, AFTER Passover was celebrated, SINCE these things were done". Therefore, going back, "Sunday", the first day of the week, was the third day "AFTER Passover was celebrated, SINCE these things were done"; Sabbath, The Seventh Day of the week, was the second day "AFTER Passover was celebrated, SINCE these things were done"; and "Friday", the sixth day of the week, was the first day "AFTER Passover was celebrated, SINCE these things were done". Then, "these things were done", meaning the events ended with YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Death, and Burial, and the Celebration of the Passover of the Yahdaim (Jews), Occurred the day BEFORE "Friday", that was / is "Thursday", the fifth day of the week! It could be NOT "Friday", that was the first day, AFTER Passover, SINCE all that occurred, NOR it could be "Wednesday", that was FOUR days back from "Sunday", that Cleopas said to be "the third day", AFTER Passover, SINCE all that occurred! Consequently, the "Last Supper", that occurred the Day BEFORE His Death, and Burial, that Really was THE TRUE, SCRIPTURAL PASSOVER (explanations and details later, in this Scriptural Study), that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) Kept and Ate with His Disciples, introducing The New Covenant in His Blood, was on "Wednesday", the fourth day of the week, at evening (and continuing during the night), that is, "in the midst of the week" (Daniel 9:26-27), in the Year that He Died, and Resurrected! The "Last Supper" was NOT on "Thursday", as "Death on Friday, and Resurrection on Sunday" proponents WRONGLY teach, NOR it was on "Tuesday", as "Death on Wednesday, and Resurrection on The Sabbath" proponents WRONGLY teach! As we said before, referring to YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Understanding of Counting Days, in Luke 13:32, we see that "day 1", or "today" was counted as "one day" regardless of how much time remained in that day. So, that "Thursday", when YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was UNRIGHTLY and WRONGLY Killed, about at "the ninth hour", that is about at 3:00 in the afternoon, at the same time the Yahdaim (Jews) were UNRIGHTLY and WRONGLY killing their Passover lambs (explanations and details later, in this Scriptural Study), was the First Day, in the count of "three Days and three Nights". Then, even though only about three hours remained in that day, it still was "Day 1" in the count of "three Days and three Nights". A review of the following 13 Scriptures clearly shows the count of three days and three nights begins with the Death of MESSYAH (MASHIACH), occurred in the afternoon, more than His Burial, occured at evening, at the end of "Thursday": Mattithyah / Matthew 16:21; 17:23; 20:18-19; 27:63-64; Mark 9:31; 10:34; Luke 9:22; 13:32; 18:33; 24:7; Yahchanan / John 2:19-21; Acts 10:39-40; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Then, in the count of "three Days and three Nights", "Thursday" was "Day 1", and the night following "Thursday" was "Night 1". "Friday" was "Day 2", and the night following "Friday" was "Night 2". The Sabbath Day was "Day 3", and the night following The Sabbath Day was "Night 3". Since YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Clearly Said that The Sign was that He will be "in the heart of the earth (Dead, in the sepulchre, in the tomb!) THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS", then HE Resurrected at the end of the Night of (AFTER) The Sabbath Day, that was the THIRD Night since (after) His Death, and just BEFORE the Beginning of the First Day of the Week ("Sunday"), very early in the morning, that was the THIRD Day since (after) His Burial! That was NOT a Resurrection "at the Early Morning of Sunday", as "Death on Friday" proponents WRONGLY teach, NOR a Resurrection "at the End of The Sabbath Day", as "Death on Wednesday" proponents WRONGLY teach! In Mattithyah / Matthew 27:62-66, we learn something interesting concerning the sealing of the sepulchre, and the soldiers that were to guard it. Verse 63 says the Chief Priests and the Pharisees were concerned about MESSYAH (MASHIACH)'s Prophecy of Rising Again AFTER THREE DAYS. They requested the sepulchre be made sure "UNTIL THE THIRD DAY". That phrase must surely mean "until the third day ENDS". Pilate granted them the "watch", and eventually the sepulchre was sealed and guarded by soldiers. If MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died on a "Friday" - THAT IS NOT! - then the Chief Priests and the Pharisees, very strictly Torah and Sabbath observant people, went to Pilate, a pagan Roman governor, at his "unclean" place, on The Sabbath Day, to ask him for the "watch", and then they went to seal the sepulchre, and to set the guards on The Sabbath Day! Very Hard Things to Believe to be Really Occurred! If MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died on a "Wednesday" - THAT IS NOT! - and we even count in the way "Wednesday" proponents prefer, then "Thursday" was the day the watch began, and would have been "day one" of the watch, "Friday" was "day two" of the watch, and The Sabbath was "day three" of the watch. Then, as the sun set, ending the Sabbath, the command to make the sepulchre sure "until the third day" would have ended. The soldiers would have gone home for a warm night sleep. The Roman soldiers certainly followed commands to the letter. But what occurred? We see, in Mattithyah / Matthew 28:1-4, that the "keepers" or those that guarded the Tomb were scared to death by the Angel (Malak) of YAHWEH (YHWH) who rolled the sepulchre stone away on Sunday early morning. Therefore, the watch would be continuing to guard the Tomb on the FOURTH day, even though they were only commanded to guard until the THIRD day. It would make No Sense At All! Instead, if MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died on a "Thursday" - AS HE DID! - then "Friday" was the day when the Chief Priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate, and the watch at sepulchre began, and Sabbath was the Second Day of the watch at sepulchre, and "Sunday" was the THIRD Day of the watch at sepulchre, which would justify why the watch was still there on Sunday morning.

PART 3
There is also another very interesting thing to note, related to YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Death, and Resurrection. Mark 16:1 states that the women bought spices AFTER The Sabbath ended. Luke 23:56 shows that the women prepared spices and ointments BEFORE The Sabbath. And even if the women could already have spices and ointments to prepare BEFORE The Sabbath, then why did they buy them AFTER The Sabbath, and No Scripture says that the women prepared spices and/or ointments AFTER The Sabbath? Then, how would be possible that, BEFORE The Sabbath, the women prepared spices and ointments that they bought AFTER The Sabbath, and they did not prepare them AFTER The Sabbath? The only solution to this "enigma" is: there were TWO Sabbaths in the Week in which YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died - The Annual High Sabbath of The First Day Feast of Unleavened (Bread), on Abib / Aviv 15, that was on "Thursday", the Day after The Passover, on Abib / Aviv 14, that was on "Wednesday", and The Weekly Sabbath, on The Seventh Day. The women returned from watching where and how Yahseph laid YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA)'s Body in the sepulchre, just before the end, at evening, of "Thursday", and then they bought spices, AFTER The Sabbath, that was The Annual High Sabbath, The First Day Feast of Unleavened (Bread), that ended at evening of "Thursday". During "Friday", and BEFORE The (Weekly) Sabbath, the women prepared ointments and spices bought AFTER The (Annual High) Sabbath. Then, they Rested on The (Weekly) Sabbath, The Seventh Day, according to The Commandment. And the Night of (AFTER) The Sabbath, at dawn, very early in the morning, at the beginning of the First Day of the Week ("Sunday"), they went to the sepulchre, taking ointments and spices bought AFTER The (Annual High) Sabbath, and prepared on "Friday", BEFORE The (Weekly) Sabbath! All that would be simply impossible to occur, with a "Death on Friday"! And, with a "Death on Wednesday", there would be a too long time span (three days), that is NOT in The Scriptures above - even having to wait from "Wednesday" evening to "Thursday" evening, AFTER The (Annual High) Sabbath, to buy spices, to prepare them "Friday", then to Rest on The Weekly Sabbath, and to go to the tomb very early in the morning of "Sunday"! Also, to Verify if such a VISIBLE Sign of "THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS" Truly Occurred, and, consequently, to Discover when He Died, and when He Resurrected, and to Prove that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) was / is The True MESSYAH (MASHIACH), it needed, also according to YAHWEH (YHWH)'s Law (Torah), Witnesses (at least, Two or Three) to See It, either at His Death, and at His Resurrection! Then, since the "Sign" of "Three Days and Three Nights" had to be a VISIBLE "Sign", with Witnesses of It, then the "Resurrection at the end of The Sabbath" is NOT such a case, because there was NO Witness of It in The Scriptures, because NO ONE Saw YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) Resurrected at that time, NOR He Showed Himself at that time, simply because He had NOT Risen YET! And the "Resurrection at early morning of Sunday" is NOT True, because, at that time, the Angel (Malak) of YAHWEH (YHWH), Who rolled away the sepulchre stone, clearly said, "HE IS NOT HERE, HE HAS RISEN AS HE SAID. COME, SEE THE PLACE WHERE YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) LAY" (Mattithyah / Matthew 28:1-8)! So, the Angel (Malak) of YAHWEH (YHWH), the women who prepared ointments and spices, and also the guards, were Witnesses of such VISIBLE "Sign" - very early in the morning, just at the beginning of the First Day of the Week ("Sunday"), AND NOT BEFORE OR AFTER THAT TIME, the Angel (Malak) of YAHWEH (YHWH) Opened the Sepulchre, to Show, and Prove that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was NOT there, that He had Risen from the dead, just as He Said: AT THE END OF THE NIGHT OF (AFTER) THE SABBATH, AND JUST BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST DAY ("SUNDAY"), VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING, ON THE THIRD DAY, JUST AFTER THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH, AS YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) HIMSELF SAID, PROVING TO BE THE TRUE MESSYAH (MASHIACH) (Mattithyah / Matthew 12:38-40)! Clearly, His Resurrection was NOT on "Early Sunday Morning", NOR It was on "Late Sabbath Evening" - but, according to The Scriptures, YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH)'s Resurrection was at the end of the Night of (AFTER) The Sabbath Day, and just BEFORE the beginning of the Day of "Sunday"! Now, let's Verify what occurred BEFORE such "three Days and three Nights", to Discover what "The Last Supper" Truly was, and when The Passover, and The First Day Feast of Unleavened (Bread) Truly occurred on the Year that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was Sacrificed! All the Scriptural evidences - Mattithyah / Matthew 26:17-30; Mark 14:12-26; Luke 22:7-30; Yahchanan / John Chapter 13 - Prove that "The Last Supper" Truly was THE PASSOVER! Surely YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) broke UNLEAVENED Bread as Symbol of His Body. UNLEAVENED Bread is from the 14th Day of the 1st Month / Moon, AT EVENING, to the 21st Day of the 1st Month / Moon, AT EVENING, for SEVEN Days (Exodus 12:15-18)! YAHSHUA broke Unleavened Bread because it was THE PASSOVER, on the 14th Day at evening, to be eaten during the night, just as He did with His Disciples! According to The Scriptures, YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) and His Disciples, and the minority in Israel (as the Essenes), Kept The Passover RIGHT, on the 14th Day at the evening, and to be Eaten during the night, because they Kept The New Moon RIGHT, at the Conjunction (Covered Moon), and The Day RIGHT, from morning (dawn to sunrise) to evening (sundown to dark)! And, instead, the majority in Israel (Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, as they usually did during the ages - too long to list all their breakings of The Torah, because of their pagan doctrines, and traditions of men!) kept the Passover WRONG, the day AFTER, because of their Babylonian "first crescent / silver new moon" (please, Read the Scriptural Studies, "THE TRUE NEW MOON IS NOT THE FIRST VISIBLE CRESCENT", and "CONJUNCTION, OR CRESCENT, OR FULL MOON?"), and of their Babylonian "sunset to sunset day" (please, Read the Scriptural Studies, "THE SCRIPTURAL DAY", and "BABYLONIAN ORIGINS OF 'SUNSET TO SUNSET' DAY")!

PART 4
No doubt whatever that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Kept THE PASSOVER with His Disciples that "Last Supper", since, "Now before the First Day of Unleavened (Bread) (when the Passover Lamb had to be sacrificed - See Luke 22:7) the Disciples came to YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA), saying, 'Where will you have us PREPARE FOR YOU TO EAT THE PASSOVER?'. HE SAID, "Go into the city to a certain one, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I WILL KEEP THE PASSOVER AT YOUR HOUSE WITH MY DISCIPLES'. And the Disciples did as YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) had directed them, and THEY PREPARED THE PASSOVER" (Mattithyah / Matthew 26:17-19; Luke 22:7-13), and "when THE HOUR CAME (at evening!), He sat at table, and the Apostles with Him. And He said to them, 'I have earnestly desired TO EAT THIS PASSOVER WITH YOU BEFORE I SUFFER; for I tell you I shall NOT eat it (again) until it is fulfilled in The Kingship of YAHWEH (YHWH)" (Luke 22:14-16)! That Day, that was on "Wednesday", the Fourth Day of the Week, in the Midst of the Week, the Year He Died, was the Day when the Passover Lambs were sacrificed, that was on the 14th Day at the evening - at the END of the 14th Day, and SURELY NOT at the 13th Day at Evening, OTHERWISE there would be EIGHT Days of Unleavened (Bread), and NOT SEVEN Days, from the 14th Day at Evening to the 21st Day at Evening, ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES (Exodus 12:15-18)! - so it CLEARLY was THE PASSOVER that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Ate, and Kept with His Disciples, BEFORE to Suffer, and to Die for us, for our sins! The majority of Yahdaim (Jews), instead, kept and ate (and still keep and eat!) the Passover WRONG, the Day AFTER, because of their Babylonian "first crescent / silver new moon" and "sunset to sunset day" pagan doctrines, and traditions of men! Please note, "In the night of (AFTER) the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the First Day of the week..." (Mattithyah / Matthew 28:1), "And very early on the First (Day) of the week, they came to the sepulchre when the sun had risen" (Mark 16:2), "Now on the First Day of the week, at the earliest dawn..." (Luke 24:1). It's Very Clear WHEN The Day BEGINS - very early in the morning, from dawn to sunrise - and also that the night of (AFTER) the Sabbath is just that, and NOT the night of the 1st Day, NOR the night of (after) "friday"! The TRUE First Day Feast of Unleavened (Bread), an Annual or High Sabbath, was on "Thursday", the Day when YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died - the Day when the Yahdaim / Jews UNRIGHTLY and WRONGLY sacrificed / killed the Passover Lambs, just as they UNRIGHTLY and WRONGLY Sacrificed / Killed YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH), THE LAMB OF YAHWEH (YHWH) WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD (Yahchanan / John 1:29), OUR PASSOVER SACRIFICED FOR US (1 Corinthians 5:7)! That is further Proven from the account in Mattithyah / Matthew 27:57-62, showing Yahseph, a rich man, who was also a Disciple of YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA), coming from Arimathea, WHEN IT WAS EVENING, at the end of the Day when YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was Killed, and going to, and asking Pilate for the Body of YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA), and then taking the Body, wrapping It in a clean linen shroud, and laying It in his own new Tomb in the rock, and rolling a great stone to the door of the Tomb! That Very Hardly could occur IF it was the time of keeping, and eating the Passover, since the touching of a Dead Body would make him unclean for the Passover! And that Very Hardly could occur IF it was the Beginning of the Annual or High Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened (Bread), because of the hard work he did to take the Body, to wrap it in a clean linen shroud, to laid it in the Tomb, and to roll a great stone to the door of the Tomb! Yahseph purposely came WHEN IT WAS EVENING, because it was the END of the Annual or High Sabbath of The Feast of Unleavened (Bread), and he could accomplish what he did! In fact, being a Disciple of YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA), Yahseph kept The TRUE Passover on the Evening and Night BEFORE, just as YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) and HIS Apostles, and the minority in Israel (Essenes) did, contrary to what the majority of the Yahdaim (Jews), mainly Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees, WRONGLY did A DAY LATER! In conclusion, YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was in the heart of the earth THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, just as He said (Mattithyah / Matthew 12:38-40)! Please note, He said, "THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS", and NOT "three nights and three days"! He did Resurrect at the end of the Night of (AFTER) the Sabbath Day, just BEFORE the beginning of the 1st Day of the Week ("Sunday")! THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS - absolutely NOT necessarily 'exactly 72 hours'! - were from the day of "Thursday" (when He died, about at "the ninth hour", that is about at 3:00 p.m., and then He was put in the sepulchre, in the Tomb, at the evening) to the night of The Sabbath (when He was Resurrected) - that is, "Thursday" Day and Night, "Friday" Day and Night, and Sabbath Day and Night - THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS! Just at the beginning of "Sunday", the First Day of the Week, very early in the morning - that was the THIRD Day since (AFTER) Death and Burial of YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) - the Angel (Malak) of YAHWEH (YHWH) came and rolled away the stone of the sepulchre, showing the eyewitnesses that the Tomb was empty, and saying to them that YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was NOT there, but He was Risen JUST AS HE SAID! As the Apostle Shaul (Paul) wrote, "For I delivered you as of first importance what I also received, that MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died for our sins IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCRIPTURES, that HE was Buried, that HE was Raised ON THE THIRD DAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCRIPTURES" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)! IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCRIPTURES: - YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died about at the Ninth Hour (about 3:00 pm) of The First Annual Sabbath or High Day of The Feast of Unleavened (Bread), that was on a "Thursday", in the Year when HE was Killed and Sacrificed, and it was just the time when the Yahdaim (Jews) WRONGLY and UNRIGHTLY killed and sacrificed the Passover lambs, just as they WRONGLY and UNRIGHTLY Killed and Sacrificed YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH), The Passover Lamb of YAHWEH (YHWH) Who takes away the sins of the world, Who Died for our sins! - YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was Buried when it was Evening, at the End of The First Annual Sabbbath or High Day of The Feast of Unleavened that was on a "Thursday", in the Year HE Died! - YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was Risen at the End of the Night of (AFTER) The Sabbath Day, and just BEFORE the beginning of "Sunday", very early in the morning, ON THE THIRD DAY since (AFTER) HIS Death, and Burial! A final Important Note - YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) was / is The One Who Fulfilled DANIEL 9:26-27! It was Prophetised that "IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK HE WILL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION, TO CEASE"! What is "the Midst of the Week"? Prophetically - a Day for a Year (Numbers 14:34) - it was 3 Years and a half of His Ministry, but it is very interesting that He Fulfilled it even Literally! In fact, literally "The Midst of the Week" is "Wednesday" evening! What did occur on "Wednesday evening" in the Week when YAHSHUA (YAHWSHUA) MESSYAH (MASHIACH) Died? HE Kept THE PASSOVER with His Disciples, introducing The NEW Covenant in His Blood, Being THE LAMB OF YAHWEH (YHWH) Who Takes Away the Sin of the World (Yahchanan / John 1:29), Our PASSOVER Sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7), so causing the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, according to the Prophecy in DANIEL 9:26-27!
